C.A.C.I.B.
and International Championship
At
shows held under the patronage of the F.C.I., International
Championship certificates (C.A.C.I.B.) may be awarded; one
for the best dog and one for the best bitch, from the open
class, the utility class and the champion class together, from
each breed, provided the eligible dog has received a mark of
Excellent ("Uitmuntend"), is registered in a
recognised national pedigree registry (KC stud book), and on
the opening day of the show has reached the age of 15 months.
To
receive the title of International Beauty Champion,
dogs of breeds that are not subjected to work or hunting
trials must have won 4 C.A.C.I.B. certificates in under 4
different judges, irregardless of the number of competing
entries; 1 certificate must be won in the country of residence
or in the country of origin.
There
are different requirements for dogs of breeds that are
subjected to work or hunting trials.
A
requirement for all dogs is that there must be a period of 12
months between winning the first and the last C.A.C.I.B.
certificate.
